Badger Highlights will cover many winter sports this week

Coming up on KVSH Badger Highlights this Saturday morning will include state wrestling and season wrap up for girls and boys with head coach Marcus Nelson.  We will also visit with boys basketball coach Randy Kluender about the district title win and preparations for state basketball next week.  Girls coach Ian Bish will join us to wrap up the successful girls’ basketball season as well.

It has been a record setting year for both girls and boys basketball.  Devahney Belville set the single game assist record against Perkins County with 9 in one game. Paige Sprenger added 155 steals this year to her list of records including 445 season points and 1123 career points. The boys have set records as well with Isaac Cronin’s game scoring record with 42, Tryston Beebout with 12 assists in the game against Hemingford and Dominic Beebout for 10, 3 pointers made in the sub district game.
