Rough Week For Football Prediction Cards

It turned out to be a rough week in the KVSH Pigskin Prediction Contest with most people missing 5 or more games. A few upsets on the card and most people staying loyal to Nebraska cost a everyone few games. Losses by Ohio State, Oklahoma, Florida State and Oklahoma State riddled the cards with red check marks. The Huskers won pretty much all statistical categories in the game against Washington, but lost on the scoreboard 17 to 10. The Huskers had 387 total yards of offense. There were 3 people who missed three games on the card and yardage determined the winner was Heather Lurz with a prediction of 394 yards. Heather receives $25. Second place will be Michaela Williamson who also missed three games and was only 14 yards off the correct yardage with a guess of 401. Michaela will get a second place check for $15. The third person who only missed 3 games was Brandi Daugherty. Of all the cards submitted, there were only 2 people who picked Washington to defeat the Huskers.

 This week the Husker travel to Illinois on KVSH. Cards are available at Hometown Lumber, Tooth and Whisker Outdoors, Nelsen Furniture, Young's Western Wear and The Bunkhouse.
