UPDATED: Power Outage Planned For Many City Of Valentine Customers Wednesday

Most of the planned outage will mostly effect customers on the north end of Valentine and surrounding area.

UPDATED TO INCLUDE ADDITIONAL OUTAGE AREA: According to officials with the City of Valentine Electric Department, there will be a planned power outage to replace damaged equipment Wednesday at about 8:30am. This will effect all City of Valentine customers in the Lakeshore area north to the Markus addition as well as the Park Route east to Fort Niobrara. NOTE: The outage will also affect customers between Donaher and 3rd Street from Western to Thatcher Streets.

This action may require that power remain shut off for about two hours, restoring electricity to those customers by about 10:30 Wednesday morning.
