NSP Arrests Impared Truck Driver In Valentine

The incident took place around midnight Monday Night/Tuesday Morning

Just before midnight on Monday, the Nebraska State Patrol conducted a traffic stop at 3^rd and Cherry Streets in Valentine.  At the request of the patrol officer, the Valentine Police K-9 unit was utilized during the incident.  Eventually, the 40 year old female driver of the semi tractor from Colorado Springs, Colorado was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and driving under the influence of drugs.  In addition to the Valentine Police Department, the Cherry County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Nebraska State Patrol in this incident.
