Funeral Service for Norman J. Peterson age 81 of Bassett, NE will be held on Monday (Nov. 17, 2025) at 10:30 AM in the Bassett Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the Bassett Memorial Park Cemetery. Norm Peterson passed away Tuesday (Nov. 11, 2025) at Avera St. Anthony’s Hospital in O’Neill, NE.

Wife: Gwen of Bassett
Children: Kim Wright of Atkinson, NE
& Travis (Heidi) Dillon of Bassett
5-Grandchildren
Brother: Wayne (Donna) Peterson of Valentine, NE
Brothers-in-law: Mark (Marie) Saar
Gary Saar and Michael Saar all of Bassett
Along with nieces, nephews and other family members
Visitations for Norm Peterson will be held on Sunday (Nov. 16, 2025) from 5 PM to 7 PM in the Bassett Methodist Church and continue on Monday one hour prior to the services at the church.
Those attending services are asked to please wear casual attire.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been suggested to the family for a future designation.
