Musical Entry Wins Independence Day Parade In Valentine For 2026

Over 20 entries entertained the parade viewers, celebrating America's 250th Birthday!

With almost 20 official entries and a handful of participants that did not have an official entry, the 250 Anniversary Independence Day parade sponsored by Liberty’s Fireworks in Valentine appeared to be a success with a very large turnout to watch along Main Street.

The winning entry was the “For God and Our Country” float with Rich Frantz and company celebrating our nation’s birthday.  They will be receiving $250 from Liberty’s Fireworks.   Second place winner was the Valentine Rotary Club marking the 100^th anniversary of the Rotary and 250 years for America.  The Rotary collects $150 from Liberty’s, and the third place entry was awarded to the Grace Lutheran School float who will get $100 for their effort.
