John Earl Hamilton, age 76, of Thedford, Nebraska, passed away on Monday, August 31, 2026, in Callaway, Nebraska.

John is survived by his wife, Cindy, of Thedford; son Kort Hamilton of Thedford; daughter Heidi Hamilton of Hastings; son Kolby Hamilton of Maywood; and daughter HaLee Kramer of Stapleton. He is also survived by his brothers, Craig Hamilton of Thedford and Tom Hamilton of Ennis, Montana.

John's funeral will be held on Friday, September 18, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the Thomas County Fairgrounds, with burial to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Thedford. A gathering will be held afterward at the Thomas County Fairgrounds, where family and friends are invited to share stories.
