Gregory "Greg" Hobbs of Maxwell, Nebraska, formerly of Kilgore, passed away on December 15, 2025 at the age of 72.

Greg is survived by his wife Ruth Hobbs of Maxwell, his children Shane Hobbs of Brady, Brock Hobbs of Ainsworth, Heather Koperski of Farwell, Zac Hobbs of Maxwelll, Sylvia Bernard of Springfield Missouri, and Travis Gouge of Valentine. Also brothers, Randy Hobbs of Pueblo West, Colorado and Duane Hobbs of Princeton, Missouri.

Memorial Visitation will be held Friday, January 9, 2026, at the Valentine Methodist Church from 5:00 - 7:00 PM with the family present.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday January 10th 2026 at 11am at the Valentine Methodist Church. This is a change in location.

Sandoz Chapel of the Pines is in charge of arrangements for Greg Hobbs.
