Girls Golf Opens Season for Badger Sports

The Valentine girl’s golf team opened their season in O’Neill on Thursday. Despite the hot weather, the girls pushed through and shot a team score of 406 which landed them 2nd place as a team.
The team had three medalist: Sam Sprenger 3rd with 95, Tiereny Miller 11th with 102 and Joni Cox 12th with 103.
Not far behind, Rylee Wackler with a 106 and Grace Murphy with a 120.
Valentine took two JV players: Kassie Hanson shot a 114 and Leti Alvarez 158.
