Utilizing their “Partners in Life” program, they partnered with the Brown County and Cherry County Hospitals in a friendly competitive fund raiser.
The fund drive has ended and results have been posted. Stacey Knox, Rock County Hospital CEO is proud to announce the Rock County Hospital raised $14,200, followed by Brown County Hospital with $2,975.20 and Cherry County Hospital with $1,000. Knowing that Cherry County residents raised significant funds that weren’t specifically through this fire relief challenge. Knox said “this was a wonderful partnership with our area hospitals. along with the support and partnership of the Sandhills Area Foundation in Valentine. Even though the competition may be over, the foundation is still accepting donations for this worthy cause at their office at 103 North Cherry Street in Valentine. No matter who won the challenge, the real winners are the producers that can receive aid from these devastating fires. A huge thank you to the entire region for the support of this.
