Fake Currency Found in Valentine

During the week officers responded to 46 calls for service, including:

-15 traffic stops

-2 animal complaints

-1 reported fraud

-1 assault

Additionally, the police department was made aware of fake currency being circulated in the area.  The phony bills had all the appearance of legitimate $50 bills, except for the phrase "For Motion Picture" appearing on the back.  Please be aware of this fraud, and check any cash you receive closely.
