The theme for this years Cherry County Fair and Rodeo is “Uncle Sam, Apple Pie and County Fair” as submitted by RJ Dean.  The parade this year will be on Thursday August 6th at 6:30 on Main Street.  The theme will be the same as the fair. New this year will be a free BBQ after the parade held at the fairgrounds and sponsored by the Cherry County Ag Society. 

 KVSH Radio has been busy talking with local entertainers about appearing on the stage in the pavilion area on Friday and Saturday during the trade show.  Performers will include Bree DeMontigny, Bethany Springer, Randy Anderson, The Old Farm House Duo and Joel Gothard.  There will also be an appearance each day from Festus, from the TV series Gunsmoke fame.  This impersonator will mix with the crowd during the fair while appearing in character.
