What I found is that the records you provided your WordPress tech guy with are correct (A: 185.230.63.107 and CNAME: pointing.wixdns.net). However, when checking on a page called: "WhatsMyDNS", I found that the CNAME record that is currently propagating is pointing.wixdns.net.kvsh.com, as visible in the following screenshot:

I don't know if this extra ending is required in WordPress in order to proceed with the connection process, that's an information I cannot confirm or deny, but what I do know is that normally this connection processes require to have and add the exact records of the website provider where you want your domain to be connected to. So, here we have two possible solutions:

1. Wait up to 48 hours and check if the domain connection is completed (and check if this extra ending didn't affect at all).

2. By Friday, if your domain connection failed, this should be due to not having the exact Wix CNAME record added.

Yes, exactly Katie. As you said, normally is a matter of waiting up to 48 hours in order to check if the domain connection was successful or not, but in this case I was checking if the records added on WordPress were matching the ones Wix provide you with, and that's what concerns me a bit, to be honest, but let's wait and check if the domain connects here to our end by the end of Friday 😊
