Valentine Police Department Week In Review August 16 - 22 2026

VPD responded to 42 calls for service in the past week.

During the week of August 16th to August 22nd, two arrests were reported by the

Valentine Police Department.

At 6:45 PM on August 17th, an officer responded to a disturbance in the 300 block of

North Valentine Street. A 23 year old Nebraska woman was arrested and charged with

Disturbing the Peace.

At 8:40 PM on August 18th, and officer was dispatched to an assault complaint in the

100 block of North Cherry Street. A 51 year old Nebraska woman was arrested and

charged with Third Degree Assault.

During the week officers responded to 42 calls for service, including:

5 traffic stops

5 welfare checks

3 disturbances

3 animal complaints

2 assaults

1 criminal mischief

1 non-injury accident

1 Driving under the Influence of Alcohol
