Ainsworth was a hotbed of wrestling action over the weekend.  The Valentine Junior Wrestling Club participated in the Ainsworth Wrestling Club's Belt Buckle Classic on January 27th.  33 Jr Badgers wrestled.  Of those, there were 6 champions in their respective age/weight brackets.  They were Camden Doney, Carter Doney, Drake Janssen, Tobin Olson, Jordan Kelber, and Noah Eklund.  The 9 2nd place finishers were Jennings Morgan, Cooper Phillips, Cody Miller, Gunnar Battershaw, Ryan Okief, Tanner Ostrander, Chase Olson, DJ Stephen, and Dylan Naslund.  Lots of wrestlers went home with Bronze medals, Andon Olson, Casey Miller, Broden Westover, James Brown, Cole McBride, Nathan Miller, Cody McBride, Kyle Grooms, Kyle Critchfield, Robert Ross, Gavin Sandoz, Traven Fletcher, and Ashton Lurz.  There were also five 4th place medalists, Austin Harp, Kolton Murray, JJ Ramone, Jarrett Battershaw, and Jackson Ravenscroft.  No word on team standings.

Here are the placings of the grapplers who traveled to Ainsworth over the weekend, in their respective weight classes, these wrestlers finished as follows:  Gage Krowlikowski and Tagg Buechle finished in 1st place, Rett Mundorf ended up with a Silver, and third place finishes went to Gage Haskel, Weston Haskel, and Holden Beck.  These wrestlers finished in 4th place, Oren Pohzel, Holden Mundorf, Ty Richardson, and Ned Pohzel.
