Cherry County Atty. Eric Scott has announced that six Valentine residents have been arrested on felony charges of Distribution of a Controlled Substance following a cooperative investigation between the Cherry County Attorney's office and the Nebraska State Patrol.  Arrest warrants served by the NSP have resulted in the arrest of 6 individuals.  They are Ralph Mandan, Calvin Hughes, Jolene Red Crow, Justin Yellow Eyes, John Malone, and William "Bill" Woodson, all of Valentine.  All are being held in the Cherry County Justice Center, or have posted bond.

The defendants face the possibility of between 20 to 100 years in prison.
