Several area Student/Athletes have been named to the Nebraska School Activity Association Academic All State teams. Students from Valentine High School include; Emily Simmons in two events, Eric Arnold, James Simmons, Alexandra Bauer, Shawna Wheeler, Titus Utecht, Marki Coleman and Michaela Peterson. From Cody-Kilgore Schools named to the academic all state team were Morgan Barnes, Drew Bryant, Lindsey Adamson, Sami Schmidt and Anlan Cheney.
