At the April 2nd Ainsworth Quadrangular attended by Ainsworth, Valentine, North Central and West hold, Valentine took a decisive victory with a team score of 176, followed by the home team Bulldogs' 175.  West Holt golfed a 188, and North Central finished at 194 strokes.

The Valentine Boys consisted of Alex Dredge, Lane Hildebrandt, Cameron Bancroft, Brooks Coleman, and Brad Michalek.

The Valentine Boys' Golf Team swung into the two top spots at the Bassett Country Club on Thursday March 28th.  Valentine's 2nd team took 1st place, with the Badgers' team 1 taking 2nd place just one stroke back.  Ainsworth was only two strokes behind the leader for 3rd place at the scramble.  Valentine team 3 finished in 6th place, with valentine team 4 finishing in 9th.

Valentine Team 1 consisted of Alex Dredge, Lane Hildabrandt, and Alex Lurz.  Team 2 was Cameron Bancroft, Brooks Coleman, and Kyle Johnson.  Team 3 was Brad Michalek, Paul Orr, and Wyatt Schmidt. Valentine Team 4 consisted of Amos Hagedorn, Devin Colburn, and Corbin Standing Ready.

Named to 1st Team All-Conference in Girls Basketball was Valentine Senior Post, Allie Millard.  Also named all conference, to the 3rd Team were Junior Guard Emily Perrett and Senior Post Skylar Mathis, both of Valentine.  Named to 1st Team All-Conference in Boys Basketball was Anthony Fast Horse, Senior at VHS, and Quinn Conner, a Valentine Junior.  Named to SWC 3rd Team were Seniors Dillon Eklund and Matt Kluender both of Valentine.

The Sandhills Thedford Lady Knights traveled almost 4 hours for their 9am tip-off against Falls City Sacred Heart in the first round of girls state basketball action at Lincoln Northeast High School in Lincoln Nebraska on Thursday February 28th.  After a late push, the final score was Falls City 57, Sandhills Thedford 42.
