In Volleyball action on Thursday night for Parents night, The Lady Badgers def. Hershey, 25-19, 22-25, 25-18, 22-25, 15-12

In Girls Golf, Aston Bancroft took 9th place, which is 2nd Team All Conference Award. Minden took first in the tournament.


Valentine Girls Golf results for Monday, September 29th at the Gordon Invite

On Monday, September 29th, the 18 hole golf invite in Gordon was changed to a 9 hole tournament due to rain and lighting. However, that didn't damper the spirits of the Lady Badgers, who placed first overall with a 241. Chadron followed with a 248 and Gordon/Rushville placed 3rd with a 287.

Individually, the scores are as follows:

In Golf, the Lady Badgers played very well at the Prairie Club Pines Course during the Valentine Invite on September 25th. Valentine placed first with a team score of 459. Chadron followed with a 505. Individually, Ashton Bancroft placed 3rd with a 93, Sherridan Bancroft placed 4th with a 108, Tori Osterman and Jessica Stankoski followed directly behind with a 129, placing 5th and 6th.

In Volleyball action on Thursday, Valentine fell to Burwell in the Reserve, Junior Varsity and Varsity matches, all of which were very close games.



Homecoming Week Continues for Valentine Badgers

Half way through Homecoming Week, the Badgers continue their preparation for the football homecoming game against Ord at 7 pm on Friday night, September 26, 2014. Coming off a tough shut out loss to Winner, the Badgers are looking to improve their season to 3-2 with a win on Friday.  This game will be aired on KVSH Radio and, with pregame commencing at 6:45 pm Central.

Before the game on Friday, there will be many other sports activities. Activities on Thursday the 25th include: Girls Golf Varsity Invitational at 10 am at the Prairie Club in Valentine and Cross Cross Middle School and Varsity Invitational at 5 pm in Gordon.  In Volleyball, the Reserve Dual begins at 5pm, JV Dual at 6pm and the Varsity Dual wraps things up at 7pm on Thursday in Burwell.

Also happening on Friday afternoon, the Cody-Kilgore Cowboys will take on Sioux County at 1 pm Mountain, 2 pm Central. That football game will also be aired on KVSH Radio, so please join us as we root on our sports teams!
