Menard to be arraigned October 1st.

On August 20th District Judge Mark Kozisek heard arguments for the bond reduction for Martina Menard, charged with the death of Shannon Castaway on March 9th, 2010. Menard is being held in the Cherry County Jail on $750,000 bond for the alledged murder. The request from Menards attorney, Stephen Potter, was denied by Judge Kozisek. The pathologist report on Castaway determined that she died as a result from a cut to the femoral vein. According to the police report, Menard told law enforcement officers that she had stabbed Castaway with a knife multiple times on the evening of March 8, 2010. The case is set for arraignment in District Court on ocotber 1st at 9am.
