United States Attorney Brendan V. Johnson announced that a Valentine, Nebraska, man has been indicted by a federal grand jury for Assault with a Dangerous Weapon and Assault Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury.

Marvin Seth Dubray, age 28, was indicted by a federal grand jury on July 18, 2012. He appeared before United States Magistrate Judge Mark A. Moreno in Pierre, on August 3, and pled not guilty to the indictment. The incident resulting in the charges occurred in South Central South Dakota.

The charge is merely an accusation, and Dubray is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

Dubray was released on bond pending trial.
